Works Selected for Overall Artistic
Excellence
The guest curators selected fourteen works
that exemplify the theme of the exhibition and overall
artistic excellence. This comment was posted about "Dark
and Stormy, Parking Lot #3, Wildlife Refuge, Plum Island"
a Black and White Photograph by Randy Radke, Newburyport, MA.
"The world is truly a feast for the
eyes. A white beach and dark sky is a rare sight.
I sense aloneness in the landscape that has been constructed
for human traffic."
Chris Enos, guest curator.
Guest curator Chris Enos lives on Plum Island
and is an award winning photographer, lecturer and author who
has been teaching and exhibiting since the early 1970's.
She has works in the collections of the Addison Gallery of
American Art, Andover, MA, George Eastman House, Rochester,
NY, Fogg Museum of Harvard University, J. Paul Getty Museum,
Malibu, CA, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX, Portland
Museum of Art, Portland, ME.
